The makers of Megastar Chiranjeevi’s upcoming film Vishwambhara have finally spoken openly about the long delay in the movie’s release. This clarification came during the trailer launch event of another film held in Hyderabad, where UV Creations representative Ajay Kumar addressed the issue. For a long time, fans have been waiting eagerly for updates, and this statement has given them some clarity.
Recently, Chiranjeevi scored a big hit with Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu. After that success, fans strongly believed that the Megastar would continue his winning streak with his next films. In this situation, expectations around Vishwambhara increased a lot. However, even though the film went on floors long ago, repeated postponements of the release disappointed both fans and general audiences.
The producers admitted that the first teaser released from the movie did not meet audience expectations. Especially the visual effects received heavy criticism on social media. Many viewers felt that the CGI quality was not up to the standard expected from a big-budget Chiranjeevi film. Taking this feedback seriously, the film team decided to rework several important scenes. Because of this, more time was needed to improve the visual effects, leading to the delay.
Ajay Kumar explained that Vishwambhara is a large-scale fantasy film, and such movies need extra care and time, especially for CGI work. He said that instead of rushing the release, the team chose to focus on better quality. He also assured that the second teaser will showcase much-improved visual effects. According to him, the official release date will be announced by director Vamsi at the right time.
This official statement has created positive buzz again around the film. Fans, audiences, and even trade circles are happy that the makers finally shared the real reason behind the delay. Many now believe that the movie’s release is not too far away.
Vishwambhara is directed by Mallidi Vassishta and produced by UV Creations. The film stars Chiranjeevi in the lead role, with Trisha Krishnan as the female lead. Actors Kunal Kapoor and Ashika Ranganath are also playing key roles. Music is composed by MM Keeravani. Announced as Chiranjeevi’s 156th film, the project had its launch ceremony in Hyderabad in October 2023. Nearly 70 percent of the movie is said to rely on visual effects to highlight its fantasy and spiritual elements.
