Division-Level E-Governance Training Held at Sullurpeta MPDO Office

A division-level e-governance training programme at the Sullurpeta MPDO office aimed to equip officials with digital skills

A one-day, division-level training programme on e-governance applications was conducted at the Sullurpeta Mandal Parishad Development Officer (MPDO) office to improve digital awareness among government officials. Officials from various mandals under the Sullurpeta division participated in the programme. The first batch of training was held on Tuesday, while the second batch is scheduled for Wednesday, January 7, 2026, officials said.

On the first day, panchayat secretaries from Sullurpeta, Tada, and Ozili mandals attended the training. Deputy Mandal Parishad Development Officers from six mandals, along with junior assistants, also took part. The sessions focused on the practical use of e-governance systems and how technology can be effectively used in the delivery of government services. Trainers provided step-by-step guidance to help officials understand digital platforms used in daily administrative work.

The second day of training will include panchayat secretaries, administrative officers, and senior assistants from Doravari Satram, Naidupeta, and Pellakur mandals. Organisers stated that attendance is mandatory as per the division-level schedule and advised officials to participate responsibly without absence. The aim is to ensure uniform understanding and implementation of e-governance systems across all mandals in the division.

The training programme was supervised by Mandal Parishad Development Officers A.V. Muralikrishna and G. Vasanthakumar. Manganeluru Panchayat Secretary (MOT) and Sullurpeta Panchayat Secretary G. Prabhakar (TOT) played a key role in coordinating the sessions. Resource persons from Nellore DPRC, including P. Srinivasulu, P. Srividya, and M. Mamatha, delivered technical sessions and explained the effective use of various e-governance applications.

Officials said the training would help speed up the delivery of government services and improve transparency at the grassroots level. They noted that proper implementation of e-governance systems at the panchayat level can reduce delays, improve record management, and enhance overall administrative quality. The programme is expected to strengthen digital governance and ensure better service delivery to the public.
